Hello Penguins!

It’s here! Lots of you are heading to the Mine to play Puffle Rescue and help those missing puffles. The team’s really excited to see how you like it! Last week we wanted to hear your daring rescue stories, and Violet5550 said:

I would get a group of pioneering penguins and together we would make a quest for the missing puffles. We would dress up as safely as we could wearing a helmet and safety jacket then get our super long powered torches and set of into the pitch black caves and hopefully rescue all the puffles and be known as heroes! After that we would relax at the coffee shop!

The Penguin Play Awards start this Thursday and you’ll be able to dress up, walk the red carpet, and vote for your favorite stage plays in different categories. This week we’d love to hear how you’re celebrating the event with your buddies. Let us know!

Puffle Rescue Update!

Hello Penguins!

Lots of you have been asking about the new game, and when you’ll have the chance to find the missing puffles at the Underground Caves.

Don’t worry… the wait is nearly over! Starting this Monday you’ll be able to rescue them in the brand new game, Puffle Rescue!

We’ve seen lots of you getting ready for action in the Mine. Check out this sneak peek of Puffle Rescue:

Rockhopper’s Here!

Hello Penguins!

The Migrator’s landed at the Beach and that means Rockhopper’s here! Once you’ve found the key to his Captain’s Quarters (check above the Coffee Shop – it’s hidden somewhere in the Book Room), you and your friends can head there and play the Treasure Hunt game. Also, don’t forget to check out the rare items he brought with him – Arrrr… you might be lookin’ like a pirate real soon.

Rockhopper likes meeting new penguins all over the island, so keep your eyes out for him.

In other news: Some of you have mentioned some construction that’s happening at the Mine. Let us know what you find…

The Orange Puffle Is Finally Available!

So many of you’ve been talking about the orange puffle and they’re finally ready for adoption at the Pet Shop! Starting today you can take ‘em back to your igloo!

I’ve talked to the team and they’re telling me that this new furry creature’s totally unique and full of surprises. We’d love to hear your orange puffle stories if you have any!

In other news, Rockhopper’s in view from the telescope at the top of the Lighthouse – I wonder what our favorite pirate’s going to be bringing?

Screenhog On Puffle Design

Hi everyone, it’s Screenhog!

It’s the time of year when we honor the island’s best pets – puffles. Way back when Club Penguin first launched, there weren’t any puffles at all. But a lot of you asked to have some kind of pet to adopt and we decided to make up a completely new creature. That’s how the puffle came to be. Actually, you guys even decided on the name “puffle”!

Last year we showed a couple of the original sketches back from November 2005 when artists first started sketching what a penguin’s pet might look like – we wanted to show some of those again (in case you missed them) plus a few more that have never been seen before.
